Who we are
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the web, we collect the data displayed on the feedback form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
If you upload images to the web you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Web visitors can download and extract any location data from the images on the web.
We have a contact form for those interested in the blog and customers can contact us. The data in this form will be used exclusively to respond to the request you are making.
If you leave a comment on our site you can choose to save your name, email address and web address in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and display options. Login cookies last two days, and screen option cookies last one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will last for two weeks. If you exit your account, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or post an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited the other website.
In order for RESIDELIA.COM to be able to analyse the visits and optimise the website to offer a better user experience, it will record the visits made to the pages of this website. To do so, a specific cookie will be embedded which is managed by Google.
Who we share your data with
Your data is not shared with third parties for their use. The exceptions are Google and Mailchimp, both services that comply with current data protection regulations. The Google service only collects data from your visits to the web for optimization analysis. Mailchimp is the service that, if you have provided your data to subscribe to our newsletter, stores this data and allows us to launch campaigns.
How long we’ve kept your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are preserved indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve successive comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
Of the users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user name). Webmasters can also view and edit that information.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes. To make these requests, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
